Dear Fellow Anglers,

NY BASS is very proud and excited to announce The NY State Fair High School Classic Bass fishing tournament. On August 28th 2021high school anglers are invited to fish the biggest, most exciting high school bass tournament in the Northeast of the United States. NY BASS, in conjunction with the Great New York State Fair, will be holding a tournament on Onondaga Lake in Syracuse NY.

The festivities begin on Friday, August 27th from 6:00-7:30pm with a pre-tournament banquet/meeting. During the banquet boat assignments, tournament off limits etc… will be discussed as well as sponsor presentations. There will be a barbecue with hamburgers and hot dogs provided for all anglers and guests.

The tournament will begin on Saturday August 28th at 5:30am and conclude at 12:30pm. The anglers will then assemble and under police escort, drive over to the New York State Fairgrounds for our weigh in. The State Fair is expecting over 100,000 people in attendance that day so we have a potential for a huge weigh in crowd.
